Advocacy
Championing initiatives that prioritize wellbeing
Championing initiatives that prioritize wellbeing is at the core of our mission to transform health systems. Through engagement, education, stakeholder collaboration, and awareness efforts, we work to advance initiatives that support mental health, reduce burnout, and promote the overall wellbeing and resilience of health professionals.
Our Initiatives

Advancing Health Professional Wellbeing
We promote policies that policies that protect and uplift Arizona’s healthcare workforce. Our priorities include reducing regulatory burdens, addressing mental health stigma, and investing in a diverse, resilient workforce to ensure quality care for all Arizonans.

Signature Advocacy Efforts
By uniting voices across organizations, we amplify our collective impact on policies that matter most. We successfully led the effort to proclaim March 18 as Health Workforce Wellbeing Day in Arizona, with 35 organizations voicing their support for the proclamation. We continue to advocate for health workforce wellbeing in all major statewide initiatives.

Eliminating Mental Health Questions & Regulatory Burden
Arizona is one of the only states to pass legislation removing outdated mental health questions from all healthcare licensing applications. On April 1, 2025, Governor Hobbs signed HB2173 into law—supporting the wellbeing of healthcare professionals by allowing them to seek care without fear of jeopardizing their license. The Wellbeing Collaborative played a key role as a strategic convener, bringing stakeholders together to drive this change and advance a more sustainable health ecosystem in Arizona.
